Get Rid of Flabby Arms with Tricep Dumbbell Exercises

With Summer fast approaching, I thought I’d give you some tips to shed your natural winter coat….LOL

While most women focus their energy on slimming the waist and thighs, sometimes they can forget about that unsightly arm flab that can accumulate over the winter months.  There are easy tricep dumbbells exercises that you can do to firm up those arms and get rid of flabby arms right in your own home. A couple of weeks of doing these tricep dumbbell exercises and you can wear tank tops with confidence!

Overhead Tricep Extensions

You can do these standing or sitting.  Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms extended up toward the ceiling. Bend your arms at the elbows and bring the dumbbells behind your head. Repeat this motion for desired amount of repetitions.

Tricep Kickbacks

Use a bench or a chair to rest one knee and one hand upon from the same side of the body and look down towards the ground keeping an aligned spine. The other leg should be on the floor to stabilize the body and the other hand should have a dumbbell in it with a 90 degree angle in the elbow. Extend the arm back and up and then bend again. Repeat.

Skull Crushers

This sounds like the scariest of all tricep dumbbell exercises but it isn’t really. It is just like the overhead tricep extension except while lying down. So, lie on the ground and hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms extended towards the ceiling. Bend at the elbows and bring them back up towards the ceiling.

These three tricep dumbbell exercises are just what you need to get those flabby arms from flab to fab in time for Summer!
