Learn how to burn 500 calories in 30 minutes
No, I don’t mean spinning around in circles.   Spinning is an exciting cardio workout done on a stationary bike that uses audio and sometimes video to take you on a virtual mountain bike trip.   Occasionally you will have to adjust your bike to a climb and also you will be alternating from a sitting to a standing position.

The best way to burn calories spinning is to make sure you keep your heart rate up.  The average woman can burn calories spinning at a rate of about 450 calories per 40 minutes class.   Compare that with an average of 350 calories by running for 40 minutes and spinning is much more fun and easier on the joints.

Depending on the spinning class you take, the atmosphere will be different but it should always be a lot of fun.  If it isn’t, you need to find another class!   Spinning can be adjusted for any fitness level, which is great because there is always room for improvement which means you can always lose more weight than the week before!
